Driver hurt as car overturns

AN elderly motorist had to be taken to hospital yesterday after he flipped a car in rush hour traffic.

The incident occurred on Comely Bank Road at 9.41am and the road remained closed in both directions whilst emergency services attended. It is understood the driver clipped a stationary car, causing the spectacular flip.

The motorist, who was able to climb out of the car, was taken to the ERI with minor injuries.
