Delays after lorry sheds load

TRAFFIC diversions are in place around Hermiston Gate Retail Park after a lorry overturned and shed its load at the roundabout.

Around one ton of aluminium scrap - believed to be remnants of air conditioner units - spilled onto the junction after the lorry toppled over at 3.20pm today.

The lorry driver was treated by paramedics, as police diverted vehicles away from the scene of the accident and into Sighthill Industrial Estate.
