Daughter seeks help to trace missing mum

The daughter of a woman missing since last Friday has appealed for help in tracking down her mother.

Heather McKay, 51, was last seen at an address in the Dechmont area of Broxburn, at around 7.30am by her friend who was leaving for work.

Her daughter, Andrea Waddell, said: “Mum’s disappearance is so out of character and none of us can understand what has happened to her.

“We are such a close family and my mum has a wide circle of friends. We’re all
worried sick and are desperate for any news that can help put our minds at rest.

Heather is described as being around 5ft 7in tall, medium build with hazel/green eyes and brown hair. She speaks with a Scottish accent and has a small burn mark on her forearm and a small tattoo on her right shoulder.
