THE CAPITAL’s summer festival season is to be bolstered by another stylish contender as it is announced that the Edinburgh International Fashion Festival will take place between August 16 and 19.

The event, which is being coordinated by Edinburgh model and event organiser Anna Fremantle, will include a range of exhibitions, catwalk shows, talks with industry insiders and will feature a host of well-known international designers.

A similar event was held in 2006 but folded after just one year due to a lack of funding and sponsorship.
