Choir rocks the Capital

THOUSANDS of singers have smashed a world record after taking part in a nationwide event, including in the Capital.

Rock Choir saw 7914 complete the “big sing”, which took place on Saturday at 38 locations across the UK.

The singers performed a specially arranged and choreographed version of the Bryan Adams and Melanie C duet Baby When You’re Gone at George Heriot’s School. They also helped raise over £10,000 for the charity Refuge.
