Bursary support to rescue for Edinburgh students

STUDENTS who may have been deterred from applying to university because of the costs of living away from home can now benefit from bursary support.

All undergraduates who are eligible for government bursaries will automatically qualify for accommodation support from Edinburgh University throughout the length of their degree course.

To qualify, students must be in receipt of either a Young Students’ Bursary or an Independent Students’ Bursary.

The accommodation bursary awarded will be linked to the level of government bursary and ranges from £500 to £2000 each year.
