Bright idea for opticians

SCHOOL pupils in Morningside will be safer on their walk to school thanks to an optician.

Specsavers Morningside has donated hi-visibility vests to primary one pupils at St Peter’s Primary.

The donation follows Road Safety Week, and Michael O’Kane, store director of Specsavers Morningside, said: ‘We wanted to play our part in helping the area’s youngsters keep themselves safe.

“Some of our staff members are parents themselves and we were all agreed that St Peter’s Primary might welcome a donation of hi-visibility vests.”
