Black and white but all colour

COLOURFUL pictures of Edinburgh Zoo’s giant pandas Tian Tian and Yang Guang have gone on display in the Capital.

The pictures are among the artworks created by pupils at Craigroyston Primary School and are on show at the WASPS Gallery Space in Hamilton Place.

Ten-year old Jennifer Dowdeswell, a pupil at the school, was on hand to help launch the exhibition recently – and show off one of the pictures.

As well as the famous panda pair, pupils drew images of robins, insects and flowers for the show, which opened at the gallery last week.
