Beat path to Tattoo treat

A LIMITED number of half-price tickets for a preview performance of this year’s Tattoo will go on sale on Monday.

The 90-minute production draws together talent from four continents and features the first iconic comic-strip characters to grace the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle.

Tattoo chief executive, Brigadier David Allfrey, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to see the complete 2012 production at a knockdown price.”

Tickets for the show on Thursday, August 2 cost between £11.50 and £28.50 and can be bought from the Tattoo office on Market Street from 10am.
