Be Brave for hit film quiz

CHILDREN who have taken advantage of the summer holidays to catch Scotland-based hit film Brave can prove they know their stuff in a quiz at Edinburgh Castle.

Historic Scotland has compiled the questions to celebrate the release of the animated blockbuster, which stars Kelly Macdonald as Princess Merida.

Nick Finnigan, executive manager of Edinburgh Castle, said: “Bring the children and explore one of the real castles which inspired the film.

“Come along on a fun, fact-filled mission around the Castle by taking part in our quiz and seek the answers to questions such as how many lions stand guard within the fireplace in the Great Hall and which red-haired queen gave birth to her only son in the royal palace.”
