Bands sign up for Blues battle

FOUR city bands are set to compete in the early heats of the New Brunswick Battle of the Blues for unsigned talent.

Capital entries Hot Tin Roof, The Blueswater, Main Street Blues and the Dana Dixon Band will compete against other blues artists at the Scottish heat in Cupar in February.

The New Brunswick Battle of the Blues, led by the Canadian province of New Brunswick, will fly the outright winner to the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton in September 2013. Deadline for entries is November 30.
