Art cash aid for Sick Kids

ART aficionados raised more than £40,000 after digging deep for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation’s Postcards for Sick Kids event.

An exhibition of more than 200 works by UK-wide established artists, including John Byrne, Stephen Mangan, Donald Provan, Jennifer Matthews and Catriona Mann, as well as a host of rising stars, was held at the Lyon & Turnbull gallery in Edinburgh.

Each exhibit was hung anonymously, allowing attendees to attempt to identify a piece of art. A total of £42,000 was raised.
