Arrest over cannabis farm

A MAN has been arrested and charged after a cannabis farm valued at £28,000 was discovered by police who raided a city flat.

The 37-year-old was set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday after herbal cannabis and cannabis plants were found inside the property in West Ferryfield, opposite the Stewart’s Melville College sports ground, on Thursday.

More than £2000 in cash was also seized during the search of the address.
