Appeal over missing man

Police are appealing for help to track down a missing man.

David Fraser Headley, from Bridge Street in Newbridge, was last seen working in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, at around 7.40pm on Wednesday.

Since then, however, he has not returned home or made contact with family or friends.

Police are carrying out inquiries to locate the 46-year-old and believe he may be heading to or currently within the Tongue region of Sutherland.

He is white, 6ft 4ins tall with a heavy build, grey eyes, short black hair and scars on his scalp and back of head.

Mr Headley was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and driving a blue Ford Tourneo Connect van.
