All ages revel in Botanics jog as 5k race branches out

JOGGERS were given a rare opportunity to run through Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden as part of the annual Jogscotland 5k.

The event yesterday evening started in Inverleith Park and took in the Botanics, which is usually off limits for joggers. Among those taking part was Denis Rutovitz, 83, founder of Edinburgh Direct Aid, who was raising funds for the organisation. This year’s jog was billed as the biggest and best yet as it celebrated the 10th anniversary of Jogscotland.
