£240k boost for youngsters

Two city projects designed to support people facing tough challenges in their lives are to benefit from the Scottish Sport Relief Home and Away programme.

The Junction has been awarded a £119,000 grant to enable the centre in Leith to offer more than 750 counselling sessions to young people aged 12-21.

Meanwhile, The Circle project has also been awarded a grant of £119,000 to provide support to young people in the area by working with their families.
