MP backs MND charter

LIVINGSTON Labour MP Graeme Morrice is backing the motor neurone disease (MND) Association’s charter.

MND kills five people every day, with 50 per cent of people dying within 14 months of diagnosis. The terminal disease can affect any adult at any age and there is no known cure.

The five-point MND charter, which Mr Morrice has signed, sets out good care for people with MND and their carers, and is designed to raise awareness of the disease.
