Staff and residents at Bupa Care Homes in Edinburgh are appealing to the local community to take part in a new initiative aimed at encouraging people to incorporate more walking into their daily lives.

Bupa’s “Walk to a Well World” promotes the physical and mental health benefits of walking and hopes to inspire more than 50,000 Bupa residents, staff and members of their local communities to become more active.

Braid Hills Care Home and Pentland Hill Care Home are taking part in walking events on September 21.
