Ladies bid to defend Evening News title

BROOMIEKNOWE, the inaugural winners, will defend the Evening News Ladies’ Trophy with the same team against Harburn at the Braids tomorrow.

It means the experienced Wendy Nicholson will again partner rising star Kate McIntosh in the top Broomieknowe couple, with Sandra Hennessy and Linda Wemyss at the rear. Nicholson and McIntosh will be up against Janie Hardie and Anne Stokes, while Harburn’s back couple will be Fiona Smith and Alison McBride.

The match tees off before the Dispatch Trophy final.
