Bedoya could tackle Celts

Alejandro Bedoya could be set to face Celtic in the Champions League after leaving Rangers to sign for Helsingborg.

The US international struggled to make an impression at Ibrox after arriving from Orebro last summer and has returned to Sweden after deciding against continuing his career in the Irn-Bru Third Division.

Bedoya confirmed his move after Celtic drew Helsingborg in the Champions League play-offs.

The 25-year-old tweeted: “Hard decisions need made! I’ve decided to move on but am extremely grateful at opportunity to have played at Rangers! Thanks for support!

“Looking forward to joining up with my new
team-mates at Helsingborg for my first training
session!”
