Filmhouse bags a gong
THE Filmhouse is one of three Scottish cinemas to be awarded an international gong for individual and collaborative work.
The Lothian Road theatre will receive the 2011 Europa Cinemas Award for Best Young Audience Activities, alongside the Dundee Contemporary Arts and the Glasgow Film Theatre at a ceremony in Glasgow.
Winners were selected from more than 1,057 cinemas.
All three theatres belong to Young Audiences Cinema Network Scotland, which is a group of cinemas committed to activities aimed at young film-goers.
