Malmaison hotel/Seaman’s mission plaque
ONLINE reader Jim asks: “I have a question about a building in Leith, once a seaman’s mission and now the Malmaison hotel. I’ve been told there is, or was, a plaque there honouring Ebenezer Wyse, a seaman born in Greenock circa 1929. Is this correct and if so can anyone tell me what is or was written on it?”
