1 Who would be your ideal weekend companion? Caitlin Moran – she would be hilarious.

2 Where would you take her in Edinburgh? Shopping around Edinburgh’s great boutiques and vintage furniture shopping at Retropolis at Drum Farm. Then the National Gallery of Modern Art and the Dean followed by a walk along the Water of Leith.

3 Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and why? For breakfast The Chocolate Tree in Bruntsfield, for lunch Yo Sushi at Harvey Nics and for dinner I’m a big fan of Indaba in Tollcross.

4 What item could you not be without and why? My handbag and everything in it, which usually consists of red lippy, iPhone, purse, pens and always a book to scribble ideas in.

5 How would your perfect weekend finish? At home with a Sunday roast and a good film.
