ROBERT Carlyle attended the international premiere of his new film in Edinburgh yesterday.

The actor, accompanied by wife Anastasia Shirley, walked the red carpet at the city’s Cineworld cinema to promote his latest movie California Solo. He had previously been expected to miss the Edinburgh International Film Festival screening after cancelling a live interview last week.
