Edinburgh ‘super college’ hosts inaugural open day

THE city’s newest and largest college is set to open its doors to potential students as part of its first-ever open day event.

Edinburgh College will hold the open day for its January courses today, giving potential students across Edinburgh and the Lothians a chance to get more information on the courses available to them, as well as meet lecturers and receive advice and assistance on issues such as funding and support.

The open day will cover courses such as healthcare, accounting and business, construction, hair and beauty, creative industries, as well as hospitality, education, energy, carpentry and joinery.

College principal Mandy Exley said: “Every course is designed to offer our students the very best opportunities.”

The open day takes place from 3pm to 7pm at all four campuses.
