Chance for adult learners

ADULT learners can now gain qualifications as part of a
council-run education programme in East Lothian.

Certificated courses in Emergency First Aid (in partnership with St Andrew’s First Aid) and Elementary Food Hygiene are available as well as SQA Highers in English, Maths, Spanish and Human Biology.

These courses can be paid with Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) – a Scottish Government scheme for people who meet certain criteria.
