Teacher joins school chiefs

A SECOND teacher is set to join West Lothian Council’s Education Executive.

A recent meeting of the full council approved proposals for an additional member of the council’s teaching staff to join the committee, which is the main decision-making body for education issues in West Lothian. A vote of all eligible teaching staff will take place before the council elections in May to allow the two representatives to be confirmed once the new council administration is in place.

Both will have full rights of participation, including voting.
