Police name dead driver
A MOTORIST who was killed when his Mercedes collided with an articulated lorry has been named by police.
Christopher Peacock, 49, from Hillfoot Road in Ayr, died as a result of injuries he suffered in the crash on the A801 near Whitburn, West Lothian, at about 11.20am on Monday.
In a short statement his family said: “He was a father-of-three who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”
Police are continuing their investigations.
