The Scottish SPCA rescued four Mississippi map turtles
FOUR turtles have been abandoned in a packing crate in West Lothian.
The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after it rescued the Mississippi map turtles from a close off Almondell Road in Broxburn.
Inspector Jenni Surgeon rescued the reptiles and took them to the Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Balerno.
The all-male group have been named John, Paul, George and Ringo after The Beatles.
