Firms take service prize

Two Lothians manufacturing firms have won accreditation from Scottish Enterprise for their customer satisfaction levels.

Musselburgh-based engineering firm ZOT and Linlithow-based parts maker Fasteq were among a list of eight Scottish manufacturers that secured bronze excellence accreditation in recognition of their outstanding quality and customer satisfaction levels.

Both exceeded the target of more than 90 per cent on-time delivery and quality standard levels of at least 98 per cent in the scheme operated by Scottish Enterprise.
