Course can save lives

AN East Lothian sports centre is offering members of the public the opportunity to gain recognised National Pool Lifeguard Qualification during the February half-term break.

The Loch Centre in Tranent will host the courses between February 13 and 18 between 8am and 5pm weekdays and from 8am to 1pm on Saturday to complete the assessment.

The cost of the course is £225 per person and includes full tuition fees, all course materials, the assessment and lunch.
