Driver fined for collision
A MOTORIST who caused a three-car collision in a busy city street has been fined £500.
Ronald Sale, 64, was responsible for a snarl-up which shut Craigmillar Park on April 10, Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard.
Sale, of West Linton, Peeblesshire, turned right onto the highway and hit a passing motor side on, causing the second car to crash into another.
Sale pleaded guilty to a careless driving. Sheriff Roderick MacLeod imposed six penalty points on his licence.
