Champion pie shop reopens
a CHAMPION pie shop was back in business today after a devastating fire last month.
Boghall Butchers in Bathgate suffered around £100,000 worth of damage in the blaze in the early hours of January 15.
Shop owner Paul Boyle, who has won two World Scotch Pie championships, said it was “pure luck” no-one was hurt.
But Mr Boyle, who employs ten staff, was determined to open again as soon as he could.
He said: “The tradesmen have done a really good job and the staff worked round-the-clock to get things back open again.”

Monday, February 6, 2012 at 07:21 PMWell done to Mr Boyle, his staff and the workmen concerned. It is such a change to read about workmen getting on with the work and not sitting around getting flat bottoms. Certainly this is not a case of PIE Rs SQUARED.
