Waterman tops expectations

ENGINEERING and environmental consultancy Waterman said results for the year to 30 June came in ahead of market expectations, with profits up 42 per cent at £7.4 million.
The firm, which has three Scottish offices – in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee – reported a record order book of £225m and said it had maintained growth in expanding markets.

It added that its overseas operations had increased revenue by 57 per cent, accounting for 32 per cent of total turnover.
