Neil Lennon hurt in Glasgow street attack

FORMER Celtic captain Neil Lennon was treated in hospital early today after being assaulted in a popular eating and drinking area.
Lennon, now a coach at the club, received treatment for minor injuries following an incident in the Glasgow's west end hours after yesterday's Old Firm clash.
Police were called to Ashton Lane, well known for trendy pubs and restaurants, at around 12.25am.
The former midfielder from Northern Ireland was taken to hospital and later released after treatment.
He has not filed a complaint with Strathclyde Police, who said inquiries into the incident were continuing.
A force spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 12.25am to a report of a 37-year-old man assaulted in Ashton Lane.
"The injured man was taken to hospital then released after treatment for minor injuries.
"He did not wish to make a complaint, however police inquiries are ongoing into the incident."
The incident came hours after Lennon was in the Celtic dugout during his club's 4-2 home defeat to Rangers.
Lennon left Celtic in 2007 and joined Nottingham Forest.
He later played for the Wycombe Wanderers before returning to Celtic as a first-team coach.
