ACTORS Grant Stott and Alan Stewart present Sharon King with a cheque for £1033 raised at the King's Theatre for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Sharon's teenage daughter Zoe lost her fight against cancer last year.

The Evening News is backing the campaign by the Teenage Cancer Trust to raise money towards opening a special unit for teenage cancer sufferers in Edinburgh, where teenage patients will feel most comfortable. TCT units are filled with computers, TVs, games consoles, pool tables and kitchens.

The money raised in the campaign will also go towards the cost providing real-hair wigs.
