Dr Who star makes charity film
DOCTOR Who star David Tennant has reinforced his support of a ground-breaking cancer charity by making a film to promote its work.
The 36-year-old actor from Bathgate, West Lothian, is patron of the Association for International Cancer Research (AICR).
The actor, who lost his mother to cancer last year, said: "I know only too well that cancer strikes without regard to age or race, country or creed, fame or fortune. I believe AICR's approach to funding research, wherever in the world it is taking place, is at the forefront of the battle to bring cancer under control."
AICR's chief executive Norman Barrett said Tennant's support would help bring the charity's work to a wider audience.
