Wood Group chief offloads more shares
WOOD Group chief executive Allister Langlands has sold a further £2.2 million worth of shares ahead of changes to capital gains tax.
He disposed of 700,000 shares at 3.23 each with his wife Helen buying 725,000 shares at the same price.
On Monday, it emerged that he had sold 300,000 shares and his wife bought 325,000 shares.
The sales have reduced Langlands' personal stake in the company to 500,000 shares. Executives across UK-listed companies have sold hundreds of millions of pounds worth of shares in recent days ahead of the increase in CGT confirmed in the Budget yesterday.
Other significant trades have been seen by directors at companies including Aggreko.
