Women's workshop
MORE women are being encouraged to pursue careers in science and become entrepreneurs to close the gender gap.
A workshop entitled New Approaches to Leadership for Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs is being held tomorrow at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
Andrew Mitchell, project leader with Informatics Ventures, which is supporting the workshop, said: "Finding female role models for our early stage entrepreneurs in Scotland is a difficult task."
Participants will deliver an "elevator pitch" to a panel of judges during the workshop.
