Unfair dismissal app hits iTunes top ten
A SOFTWARE application designed by Scottish law firm MacRoberts has been downloaded by more than 1,000 people only days after being launched, pushing the package into iTune's free business app top ten.
The interactive tool - which includes an unfair dismissal compensation calculator and a redundancy payment calculator - beat off 9,463 other apps to reach number six in the charts.
The "HR Adviser" app was designed by Graham Mitchell, a specialist employment law partner, and David Flint, head of the firm's intellectual property, technology and communications group.
