Trio to bid for radio stations
FORMER Radio Forth boss Adam Findlay is understood to have joined forces with Scottish businessmen Gordon Beattie and John Quinn in tabling a formal bid for Xfm's radio stations in Glasgow, Manchester and south Wales.
A deadline had been set for noon today for bids for the stations which are being sold following owner GCap's recent strategic review.
The stations are forecast to make a combined loss of around 800,000 over the current year. No bid value was given and none of the trio were immediately available for comment.
