EasyJet to open two French bases
Low-fare airline EasyJet is to open two more bases in France, it was announced yesterday.
The carrier said the sites – at Nice and Toulouse – would be operational by summer 2012. This will take EasyJet’s number of French bases to five, with the others being Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports in Paris, and Lyon. The new bases should enable it to increase its French regional and European routes from 27 to 37.
