£6m for Souter in shares deal
STAGECOACH boss Brian Souter has boosted his considerable personal wealth by a further £6.4 million after he exercised share options in the company.
Chief executive Mr Souter bought 4.36 million shares at between 27p and 85.75p each under an options agreement granted between five and three years ago.
Perth-based Stagecoach shares are currently worth around 192p each - giving Mr Souter a 6.4m paper gain on what he paid for the shares and what they are worth now.
