Help pick a Capital icon

A POPULARITY contest involving three of Edinburgh’s best-known figures will draw to a close this weekend.

Greyfriars Bobby, Deacon Brodie and murderer William Burke are the candidates to feature in a new display at the Museum of Edinburgh.

Council bosses want the public to vote for their favourite, with the winner having a dedicated exhibition.

Voting closes at midnight on Sunday, with those involved entered into a draw for a £50 voucher at a museum shop. To vote visit www.surveymonkey.com
