Steve Leach gets chairman role at Fetch Media

sTEVE Leach, the founder of search optimisation giant Bigmouth Media, has joined a London-based mobile marketing agency as chairman following his “substantial” investment in the company.

Leach made the investment in Fetch Media through his £20 million venture capital fund, which he set up in 2010 after Bigmouth was sold to London-based digital marketing group LBi for €52m. Previously, Leach and his wife Heather Luscombe sold a stake in their Leith-based business to private equity firm the Carlyle Group in 2006.

Leach said: “I’ve been keen to invest in this space for some time now and have researched the landscape extensively.”
