Kate Moss ad boosts Virgin Mobile

A TELEVISION advert featuring model Kate Moss is helping Virgin Mobile to pick up more customers.

The total number of customers on contracts or pay-as-you-go rose 12 per cent to 4.35 million in the last three months of 2005. Revenues were up 20.3 per cent.

Virgin is continuing talks with cable company NTL about a possible takeover.
