EBay admits Skype blunder
INTERNET auction site eBay admitted today that Skype, the internet telephone service it bought in September 2005, had not lived up to its hopes.
It also admitted it had overpaid for the business it purchased for just under 1.3 billion, with a further 830 million payable depending on performance targets.
