System C nets web expert Conscia
CONSCIA Enterprise Systems, a Glasgow-based software firm, has been snapped up by Aim-listed IT specialist System C Healthcare for £800,000.
System C, which provides IT products and services to the health and social care sectors, said it was buying Conscia for its "significant web development expertise", which includes e-commerce and mobile computing applications.
In the year to 30 June, Conscia reported revenues of 1.2 million and a pre-tax profit of 200,000. System C said it funded the acquisition through its own cash resources.
