Stocks markets tumble across the world
STOCK markets across the globe have fallen amid uncertainty about whether moves by the US government to inject money into the system will be enough.
India's BSE index fell 1.95 per cent, Hong Kong's HSI shed 2.7 per cent, and Sydney fell two per cent.
In early morning trading today, the FTSE 100 Index fell by just under one per cent.
It comes after the US Dow Jones took another tumble, closing 3.3 per cent down yesterday, following a brief reprieve on Friday after US officials announced the $700bn rescue plan with politicians.
