Standard Life's Hunt steps up in the interim
STANDARD Life has appointed deputy group finance director Jackie Hunt as interim chief financial officer.
Hunt, who takes over the chief financial officer duties but will not sit on the board, replaces David Nish, who becomes group chief executive from 1 January.
A recent addition to Standard Life, Hunt joined in January having previously held the post of chief financial officer responsible for leading financial management and control functions, performance management and strategy development at Norwich Union Insurance, Aviva's general insurance business.
South African-born Hunt has previously worked in senior positions with Deloitte & Touche in New Zealand, with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the US and Switzerland and with Royal & Sun Alliance in the UK, before joining Aviva in 2003.
She will take the position until a new chief financial officer is confirmed.
